Dear Core DMG, COMCIFS, and Cif-developers,
I'm very pleased to announce that a new version (3.3.0) of the Core CIF dictionary has been released and is available from our new-look CIF dictionaries webpage at https://cif-dictionaries.iucr.org/cifdic/. This will be the version covered in the forthcoming 2nd Edition of International Tables for Crystallography, Volume G.
Release notes are published at https://github.com/COMCIFS/cif_core/wiki/Release-Notes-for-CIF-Core-3.3.0.
I would like express gratitude on behalf of the community for the contributions of the people who over the past 3 years have brought this new release to fruition, whether by contributing updates, raising issues, or commenting.
Happy Reading!
James Hester (COMCIFS Chair)
