Dear all

Please be aware that nominations for membership of the IUCr Commissions from the next General Assembly close on 31st August 2010. My understanding is that, if you are a member of a Commission with up to three years service on the Commission, you will probably be re-appointed automatically unless you resign.

If you know of anyone who wants to become a member of a Commission, they should arrange for a nomination to be completed BY A MEMBER OF THEIR NATIONAL COMMITTEE and returned to Mike Dacombe, Executive Secretary (execsec@iucr.org) of the IUCr before midnight next Tuesday, 31st August.

National committee members can download copies of the nomination from from the IUCr website (search for "nomination").
