The review period for the multiblock dictionary has now concluded. We will proceed to technical editing and release, which you are welcome to follow using the links in my previous email.

A new release of the core multiblock dictionary has been prepared. Before final release, you are all invited to check for any issues. The multiblock dictionary is a relatively new dictionary that builds on the core dictionary to define the way in which data from the core dictionary can be spread across multiple data blocks. It is relatively short (1500 lines). Some brief background on how this works is at https://github.com/COMCIFS/comcifs.github.io/blob/main/accepted/multi-block-principles.md.

Highlights of this release are available at https://github.com/COMCIFS/cif_core_multiblock/wiki/Release-Notes-for-version-1.1.0 , within which you will find a link to every change relative to version 1.0.0 of a few years ago. Please comment on this release within the next two weeks, and then once any issues raised have been resolved, this will become the final release. The actual text of the dictionary release candidate is available at https://github.com/COMCIFS/cif_core_multiblock/blob/rc-1.1.0/cif_core_multiblock.dic

Note this is the first time we've put together release notes and tried a more formal release process. Any feedback on the process is welcome.
