Dear Colleagues

In this mailing I welcome to the DDDWG several new IUCr Commission
Chairs. The IUCr Diffraction Data Deposition Working Group (DDDWG)
has been active for the past three years, and it interacts with the
community through public meetings, discussion forums and mailing
lists. All Commission Chairs are ex officio members of this
mailing list. If you wish to nominate additional members of your
Commission to liaise with the DDDWG, please ask them also to
subscribe to this list in one of the following ways:

(i) Visit the web page http://mailman.iucr.org/mailman/listinfo/dddwg
(ii) Send an email to ddwg-request@iucr.org with the word "subscribe"
      in the Subject: line.Subject
(iii) Send a request to me, bm@iucr.org

If you are new to this list, you might like to review the activities
of the DDDWG by visiting the public discussion forum
    http://forums.iucr.org/viewforum.php?f=21
and, in particular, by viewing the recently posted minutes of the
Working Group's meeting at the Montreal Congress:
    http://forums.iucr.org/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=347

We welcome you to the mailing list. Any messages you post to
dddwg@iucr.org will automatically be shared by Members and
Consultants of the DDDWG, fellow Commission Chairs, representatives
from the IUCr Executive Committee, and other interested parties
from the community. We look forward to hearing from you.

John Helliwell (Chair)
Brian McMahon
