The Royal Society has given its web site a new look. See
www.royalsoc.ac.uk . unvieling a new look and added features, further
developments are planned including a searchable media directory of
specialists and an educational 'subsite' aimed at school children and
teachers.
The Society is also participating in JSTOR, a non-profit
organisation dedicated to creating a trusted digital archive of
scholarly literature. It has undertaken to convert the Society's
Philosophical Transactions and Proceedings journals back to 1665. Some
are available now, they hope to have all the issues 1665 to 1995
available by the end of 2000. Please visit the JSTOR web site at
http://www.jstor.org or send an email to clm@jstor.org for further
information.

[If any one receiving this message does NOT receive the BCA newsletter,
please send me an e-mail. If I receive no replies, I'll assume you all
read it anyway and stop taking my time to copy the interesting bits
concerning CEP matters.]
