We are pleased to announce International Conference “Synchrotron Radiation: Science, Knowledge, Innovations, Future (SKIF-2026)”.

ü  Location: Novosibirsk, Russia

ü  Date: October 18−23, 2026

ü  Abstract submission deadline: extended to May 31, 2026

ü  Working language – English

ü  No registration fee

The purpose of the Conference is to discuss the current trends and future advances in the field of synchrotron radiation researches, including facilities and IDs development, beamlines optics and instrumentation, fundamental researchers and industrial applications.

We are deeply convinced that the communication and cooperation between scientists worldwide is the essence of the mankind progress. We believe that SKIF-2026 will provide an opportunity to support international cooperation between specialists in Synchrotron Radiation facilities, provide productive and efficient discussion between scientists using Synchrotron Radiation for research and developments.

The main topics of the Conference scientific program are:

ü  Fundamental and Applied researches

ü  Industrial applications

ü  Instrumentation, detectors and data acquisition

ü  SR sources and IDs

The Organizing Committee is willing to reimburse foreign participants (plenary, keynote, and invited oral speakers) for travel and accommodation expenses if necessary. All submitted abstracts will be reviewed to assign an appropriate status.

More detailed information about the upcoming Conference is on the website of the Conference https://skif-conf.ru/. The new fourth generation light source “SKIF” will start operation the fall of 2026 in Novosibirsk, Russia. The 3 GeV SKIF storage ring has 476 m in circumference provides 75 pm designed horizontal beam emittance. The new light source will be equipped with 30 experimental beamlines. The first seven beamlines are ready to start their operation. A tour to the SKIF will be organized within the Conference program.

We would be grateful if you could share information about the conference with anyone who might be interested.

We will be glad to see you in Novosibirsk. If you have any problems with in person participation, the Organizing Committee is ready to consider the possibility of online presentations for plenary sessions, keynote speakers, and invited speakers.
