CBFlib

Hello,

Paul has done a very good job in producing the first prototype
version of a CBF I/O library (cbflib). Herb, Jim, and I have received
the code and doc, and between us and Paul we've compiled and linked it
on ~6 or so different systems. This is using "binary string" values instead
of the "binary sections" concept previously discussed. Soon I hope
to circulate an example for discussion. I've added some comments to the
draft CBF definition document.

(I'm off on holiday for a week, so more later).

Regards,

     Andy
