Syd,

   John has expressed very nicely one of the points that got lost 
because of my current limited typing ability.  Indeed the paragraph just 
before the 1. General recommendations needs completely rewriting (by 
JRH?) to avoid generating unnecessary hostility. What is required is to 
have a system in place that can continue to deliver print-on-paper in 
the required quantities with the required content to those who want to 
pay for it.

   Something of the quality of the Knovell electronic sample book will 
drive people to desperation.
