When my installation had loaded in its Java plug in, the molecular formulae all showed as blank. The content of their sample book reminds me of the electronic OUP Dictionnary of Science, i.e. terrible. It is clear that an IT online needs material with added functionnalty like the Knovel sample book. Add in a recommendation that augmented functionality of tables, equations and graphs is attractive but the hardware and software implications need examining, and suitable material from IT needs identifying.
