Dear powder DMG, Core DMG, and CIF developers,
First, apologies if some of you receive this twice (or even three times!)
A new
release of the powder dictionary has been prepared. Before
final release,
you are all invited to check for any issues or omissions. Those wishing to follow
development more closely are welcome to "watch" the Github repository by
pressing the little "watch" button at the top right of the home page
at https://github.com/COMCIFS/cif_pd.
Highlights of this release are available at https://github.com/COMCIFS/cif_pd/wiki/Release-Notes-for-CIF-Powder-Dictionary-2.5.0, within which you will find a link to every change relative to version 2.4.1 in December 2021. Please comment on this release within one month, and
then (once any issues raised have been resolved), this
will become the version covered in the next edition of International Tables Volume G. The actual text of the
dictionary release candidate is available at https://github.com/COMCIFS/cif_pd/blob/rc-2.5.0/cif_pd.dic
