A MPhil/PhD Scholarship, in collaboration with fuel & lubricant additive manufacturer Infineum, is now available at the University of Greenwich, UK.
The project aims to identify and provide a mechanistic understanding of additive competition and adsorption at the solid (particle) interface as a function of (non-aqueous) solvent polarity, ultimately leading to the development of optimised oil formulations to improve fuel economy and provide enhanced environmental benefits.
The project will utilise NMR techniques supplemented by small-angle neutron scattering experiments.

The closing date for applications is February 9, 2018.
