Anton Paar presents SAXSpoint 700, a cutting-edge laboratory beamline designed for Small-Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS), Wide-Angle X-ray Scattering (WAXS), Grazing-Incidence SAXS (GISAXS), Ultra-SAXS (USAXS) and RheoSAXS analyses. Featuring a spacious and adaptable measurement chamber, SAXSpoint 700 enables researchers to conduct experiments under ambient, non-ambient and controlled air conditions, unlocking infinite experimental possibilities for advanced material characterization.
At the core of SAXSpoint 700 is its versatile and high-precision chamber, which supports seamless transitions between diverse experimental setups. The system achieves a minimum q-value of 0.01 nm⁻¹ with a 3.60 m system length, providing exceptional resolution.
With Slidemaster technology, SAXSpoint 700 enables simultaneous SAXS and WAXS measurements without requiring realignment, significantly streamlining workflows. A moving detector allows for automated sample-to-detector distance adjustments from less than 45 mm to over 1600 mm, ensuring efficient switching between experimental configurations.
The integrated GISAXS stage extends capabilities to GISAXS and GIWAXS measurements across a broad temperature range from -150°C to +500°C. The RheoSAXS module, in combination with Anton Paar’s DSR 502 rheometer, allows researchers to investigate structural and rheological properties in parallel, further expanding the system’s application potential.
SAXSpoint 700 delivers synchrotron-grade data quality, utilizing an X-ray beam with the highest spectral purity and scatterless collimation to resolve nanostructures up to 620 nm, with USAXS extending into the micrometre range. Its advanced software suite, SAXSdrive and SAXSanalysis, provides automated setup and comprehensive data analysis tools. Python-based scripting allows users full control over experiments, and a free lifelong software update policy ensures continuous enhancement.
Designed for adaptability and scalability, SAXSpoint 700 meets the evolving demands of modern research. Anton Paar’s stringent quality management, certified service personnel, and comprehensive application support guarantee minimal service response time and full-service traceability. With a three-year warranty and a commitment to innovation, Anton Paar continues to set new standards in laboratory X-ray scattering technology.
