Re: [dddwg] DDWG related paper

Dear Wladek,
Thank you for sending your article to the DDDWG on your MX raw data repository. As we have emphasised before it is a very fine initiative and congratulations again on leading it and also on each raw data set within it now having a doi. Bringing together such a collection will, as you cogently argue, illuminate MX experimental practices.
In our overview “Raw diffraction data preservation and reuse: overview, update on practicalities and metadata requirements”, submitted to IUCrJ, we emphasise that it is no longer problematic for permanent, doi registered, raw data set preservation in permanent repository storage.
All best wishes,
John and Brian

Dear All,
Please find enclosed paper that described the IRRMC resource thatcurrently has original data from over 3000 diffraction experiments(almost 6000 data sets). Resource is indexed, searchable, and allexperiments have their doi that should be used when cited. The paper gotcover in November issue of Acta Cryst D.
Best regards
Wladek
