PS:  I've just had a brilliant idea.  May be I should write a 
complaining letter to the IUCr's Newsletterpointing out English-speaking 
authors' responsibilities in international collaborations.  If this 
offender does not read his own papers, there is just an outside chance 
that he reads the IUCr's Newsletter.

   The above PS is in the same category.  Perhaps Nicola would have written:

   "Flack thinks **** is a lazy sod."
