International Year of Crystallography - the next step

The proposal that 2014 should be the International Year of Crystallography is now with the Permanent Delegation for Morocco at the United Nations in New York, USA.

It is important that as many countries as possible support the proposal. Therefore, crystallographers with governmental contacts are asked to do what they can to encourage their Permanent Representatives in the UN  to contact the Moroccan delegation as soon as possible to give their support. For example, they could help their National Committee for Crystallography to establish contact with their national Permanent Representative.
