Third Session of the General Assembly
The Third (and final) Session of the General Assembly comprises a series of anonymous ballots in which the Delegates decide the venue for the next but one Congress, and elect Officers of the Union for the next triennium.
The venue for the 23rd Congress and General Assembly of the IUCr in 2014 will be Montreal, Canada.

Sven Lidin was elected unopposed as General Secretary and Treasurer.
J. Manuel Perez-Mato, Louis T. J. Delbaere and Elena Boldyreva were elected to six-year terms, and Claude Lecomte to a further three-year term, as Ordinary Members of the Executive Committee.
