2011 Nobel Prize for Chemistry
The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for 2011 to
Dan Shechtman, Faculty of Materials Engineering, Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Israel
"for the discovery of quasicrystals".
