imgCIF / CBF web pages

Hello,

There are now (or within 30 minutes there should be) web pages on
imgCIF / CBF which should be accessible world-wide. The url is:

http://www.esrf.fr/computing/Forum/imgCIF

Please have a look at the pages, and send back comments. I've put
various images in, but if the net response is not good enough they can be
removed or made simpler. Things can be changed and links to other
sites can be added. (The http://ndbserver.rutgers.edu/mmcif/cbf/ link
is not in place yet, but will be soon.)

The "DRAFT CBF DEFINITION" now contains a proposal for the "byte_offsets"
algorithm. Herb might like to check on any legal implications. As
proposed it specifies a fixed (little-endian) byte ordering for
multi-byte integers. However, it might be preferable (or not) to allow
this to be variable. Any views ?

Regards,

       Andy
