Just a line of congratulations on a very good issue of the IUCr Newsletter (Vol 8, No 4). I have in mind, for example, the breast cancer diagnosis article on p.8 and the hydrogen-bond meeting report on p.19, to say nothing of the good stuff on Crystallography Journals Online and CIF developments, etc.

Of course I realise that you must be rather in the hands of the contributors when it comes to content, so maybe in part we're all just fortunate that a number of items of high general interest came together this month.
