Dorothy Hodgkin: a celebration
Dorothy Crowfoot Hodgkin was born on 12 May 1910. She is credited with discovering the three dimensional structures of penicillin, vitamin B12 and insulin. To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of the only British woman ever to have won a Nobel Prize for science, the BBC has produced an audio slideshow, produced by Paul Kerley and narrated by her son Luke Hodgkin.
