The International Union of Crystallography publishes a number of leading journals in crystallographic research, and in enabling technologies and methods. To mark the 70th anniversary of the Union this year, we are announcing an exceptional opportunity to join our editorial boards. Main Editors
We currently have vacancies for Main Editor position(s) in the following journals:
- Foundations and Advances (Acta Crystallographica Section A): crystallographic methods and novel approaches, coherent radiation approaches and applications, structure dynamics
- Journal of Synchrotron Radiation: X-ray optics, diffuse X-ray scattering, microdiffraction, soft X-ray applications and imaging
- Structural Biology (Acta Crystallographica Section D): XFEL applications, cryo-EM, NMR, combined methods, protein crystallography

Please write in confidence by 7 May 2017 to the Editor-in-chief ([email protected]) and Executive Managing Editor ([email protected]), enclosing your CV, a list of your 20 most important publications and a full list of publications. In addition, candidates for Main Editor positions should include their vision for the journal in 500 words, whereas candidates for Co-editor positions should explain how they can attract high-quality papers to the journal and respond to the demands of the expanding scope of the journals.
