Stanko Popović (1938-2020)
The death has been announced of Stanko Popović on 17 December 2020 at the age of 83. He was Professor Emeritus of the University of Zagreb and a stalwart of the Croatian crystallographic community, serving as Secretary (1992─2006) and President (2006─2017) of the Croatian Crystallographic Association from 2006 to 2017.
An obituary by his colleagues Dubravka Matković-Čalogović and Marijana Đaković has been published on the website of the European Crystallographic Association. He will be greatly missed by friends and colleagues worldwide.
