Dear Colleagues,

I am seeking qualified candidates to fill a Post-Doctoral Fellowship
opportunity in the Polymers Research Branch at the US Army Research
Laboratory.  

Primary responsibilities will be in the area of x-ray characterization of
polymers, including small angle scattering, wide angle scattering, and
x-ray diffraction.  This position requires a PhD in Engineering,
Chemistry, or a related field, with a strong background in polymer
physics.

Preference will be given to applicants with experience in the
determination of structure and structure/property relationships in fibers
and oriented polymer systems. Hands-on experience with design and
implementation of x-ray facilities is also desirable. 

US Citizens or permanent residents only.  US Citizen preferred.

Salary: $41,000./yr
Term:    1 year, with possible extension to 3 years
Location: 
	 US Army Research Laboratory, 
         Rodman Materials Science Laboratory
	 Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland 
	(Approximately 30 minutes north of Baltimore, MD and 45 minutes
	south of Wilmington, DE.)
