Below is the preliminary schedule for the Small-Angle Scattering Special Interest Group sessions at the ACA meeting n Washington DC coming up this July. There will be additional 1-2 speakers for each session to be invited after we have review submitted abstracts. The Abstract deadling is March 6 1998, and online submission instruction are available at the ACA homepage http://www.hwi.buffalo.edu/ACA where you can also find thecomplete schedule of sessions and registration infromation. The Small-Angle Scattering SIG sessions are on Tuesday and Wednesday July 21-22.
Session 1: Combining Scattering Methods with Diffraction and NMR to Solve Complex Problems
Sebastian Doniach, Time-Resolved Studies of Protein Folding, Stanford University
Roland May, The Solution Structure of GroES/GroEL, Institut Laue Langevin
Jinkui Zhao, The Quaternary Structure of the cAMP-Dependent Protein Kinase, Los Alamos National Laboratory
Session 2: Modeling Small-Angle Scattering Data
Dmitri Svergun, Small-Angle Scattering Data Analysis for the General User, European Molecular Biology Laboratory, DESY
Norman Berk, Model Independent Approaches to Analyzing Surface Biological Structures, National Institute of Standards Technology
Jan Skov Pedersen, Application of Monte Carlo simulation methods in modelling polymers and polymer-like micelles, Risoe National Laboratory
Hope to see many of you there!
