Postdoctoral Associate Position: Pollack Lab Cornell
The Pollack lab is an interdisciplinary, biophysics research group in the School of Applied and Engineering Physics at Cornell University. We develop and apply state-of-the-art physics and engineering approaches to unravel the structural dynamics of biological macromolecules. We seek applicants for a postdoctoral position to continue a highly successful program building and applying microfluidics based instruments to reveal the dynamics of biological molecules as they interact. Biological systems of interest include highly flexible RNA and/or proteins and their self-assembly into biologically important complexes, including virus-like particles. A Ph.D. in physics, applied physics, biophysics or a related discipline is required. Experience with solution x-ray scattering (SAXS/WAXS) and experience handling biological molecules is preferred.
For more information and to apply, please submit a cover letter and CV through: https://academicjobsonline.org/ajo/jobs/21675
