Subject: Job Opening


The Physics Department at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) is
expanding its scope into research associated with soft-condensed matter 
physics
and is in the process of searching for suitable candidates to fill a 
tenure
track position.  BNL, a Department of Energy multidisciplinary Laboratory
located on the eastern end of Long Island in New York State, is home to 
the
National Synchrotron Light Source (NSLS).  Candidates must have the
demonstrated ability to initiate an independent scientific program in
polymer physics, biophysics and/or nano-science. Interest in scattering
techniques (x-rays/neutrons) is desirable, although strong candidates with
other expertise will be considered. BNL is a equal opportunity employer.
