Dear Colleagues

There will be a meeting of COMCIFS at the IUCr Congress in Glasgow,
Scotland, during the period August 4 - 13 1999. All members and observers
are welcome to attend. The meeting will review the status of the various
dictionary projects and discuss technical issues relating to the CIF project
as a whole. Some support may be available to assist members who would
otherwise find difficulty in attending.

I suggest below some possible time slots for the meeting, based on known
commitments and room availability. Please let me know (by replying directly
to bm@iucr.org, and not to the list through which this notice was sent)
whether you expect to be able to attend, and what are your preferences
for the date and time. The Congress schedule is now available at
http://www.chem.gla.ac.uk/iucr99/ or at any of the IUCr mirror
sites corresponding to http://www.iucr.org/iucr-top/cong/18/
Experience suggests that it becomes progressively more difficult to schedule
events as a major meeting progresses, so I would suggest that you favour the
earlier suggestions unless there are good reasons not to.
