Following the approval by the Executive Committee of the policy
statement discussed in draft on this list, the new statement has
been placed on the IUCr web site at http://www.iucr.org/iucr-top/ipr.html

When it has percolated to the public server and mirrors, I shall announce
its existence to the cif-developers and mmcif list, and also announce it
on the "What's New" page of Crystallography Online.

Regards
Brian
