Dear COMCIFs members,

I believe that it is clear from Mois Aroyo's presentation at the CIF
microsymposium on the last day that the time is ripe to update the
current symmetry CIF dictionary.  My understanding is that agreement
on the datanames and definitions is likely to be easy to achieve, as
much of the work has already been done in order to produce Volume A1.
Providing the committee has no objections, I would therefore like to
ask Mois to reconstitute a dictionary working group.

Please let me know of any concerns or suggestions you might have.
