Re: Suggestions for microsymposium topics for IUCr 2023

Thanks Brian for the suggestion.

To my mind "How to find CIF information" would work better as an
information session, much as there have been "how to use publCIF"
sessions in the past. I think we can just go ahead and ask for a
timeslot for these without needing to go through the IPC.

I'm a bit wary of co-proposing that particular topic with CommDat at
this point as the topic is rather standards-focussed rather than the
broader topics that CommDat engage with, but certainly we should keep
it in mind as an option and I'll advise the CommDat chair of our
proposals once they are firmer.

I do expect to resolve both the proposed topic and nominee for the IPC
fairly soon, so if you were thinking of suggestions for either of
these now is the time to speak.
