Dear Alll
A 2-year post-doctoral position funded by the French National ResearchAgency (ANR) is available at the “*Highly Flexible Proteins*” group led byPau Bernadó at the *Centre de Biologie Structurale* (CBS) in Montpellier(France).
*Project:* The project aims at developing experimental and analytical toolsfor the interpretation of Small-Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS) data measuredon disordered proteins, biomolecular condensates and functionalizedproteins. With a multidisciplinary focus, the candidate will collaboratewith computational biologists and bioinorganic chemists to derive newstructural information from complex and heterogeneous biomolecular systems.
*Candidate:* The successful candidate should have a PhD in chemistry, biology or physics and a solid background in biomolecular Small-AngleScattering (SAS). The candidate should have experience in computationalmethods and/or protein production.
*Environment:* The CBS is a dynamic research institute with an outstandinginfrastructure covering all techniques for structural biology andbiophysics including NMR, X-ray crystallography, cryo-electron microscopy, advanced fluorescence and super-resolution microscopes, single-moleculemanipulation, molecular and cell biology, and high-performance computation.
Montpellier is a major biology area with a focus on basic research, biomedicine, plant biology and environmental science. Its science drive, the beauty of the region, its high quality of life, and the short commuteto other major regional research areas (Paris, Barcelona, Toulouse,Marseille) make it an ideal destination for scientists from all over theworld.
*Application:* Applications and informal queries about the project and thelab should be addressed to Pau Bernadó (pau.bernado@cbs.cnrs.fr).Interested candidates should send their CV, a cover letter describing theirresearch interests and motivation, and the names of people willing to writea recommendation letter.
