World Directory and Database of Crystallographers

Data are being gathered for the next edition of the World Directory of Crystallographers to be prepared as hard copy and a database accessible by computer network. Data are to be submitted in the STAR File format [Hall, J. Chem. Inf. Comp. Sci. 31, 326-333 (1991) or Hall, Allen & Brown, Acta Cryst. A47, 655-685 (1991)]. Instructions for preparation and submission of entries appear in Acta Cryst. A49, 222-225 (1993). A list of keywords describing scientific interest [Acta Cryst. A48, 949-954 (1992)] should be consulted when preparing entries. National Sub-Editors are responsible for collecting the data. Regional Editors for Asia and Australia, Europe and North America will assist in coordinating data collection. A list of the editors is given below. Additional names will be added. National Editors are to complete these tasks by the end of the year. Please feel free to contact your National, Regional, or the General Editor, but remember that data MUST be sent to your National Editor only.
