Version 2.4.5 of the core CIF dictionary for inorganic and small-molecule structures has been posted on the IUCr web site in ASCII and html formatted versions at http://www.iucr.org/resources/cif/dictionaries/cif_core The dictionary file is available directly by anonymous ftp as ftp://ftp.iucr.org/pub/cif_core.dic This is a minor version update which introduces six new data names intended to assist in the citation of data sets in accordance with the Joint Declaration of Data Citation Principles (https://www.force11.org/datacitation) and to track authors using the standard unique identifier ORCiD (http://orcid.org).
