What is the IUCr Associates Programme?
The IUCr Associates Programme offers access to exclusive member discounts, valuable resources and networking opportunities. By joining the Associates Programme, you will be giving your support to the IUCr's many charitable activities such as providing financial assistance to students to attend international meetings, a Visiting Professor scheme and building crystallography capacity around the world. What are the benefits of joining the Associates Programme?

In brief, the benefits include discounts on the open-access publishing fee for IUCr journals, discounts on the price of purchasing print copies of International Tables of Crystallography, discounts from other major publishers, professional networking opportunities such as access to the IUCr LinkedIn group, and access to resources such as jobs postings, the IUCr Newsletter, meeting notices, webinars and videos.
When will the Associates Programme be launched?
The Associates Programme will be launched in August 2017, to coincide with the IUCr Congress in Hyderabad, India (21-28 August 2017).
How much does it cost to become an Associate?
A pre-launch discount of 20% is available for those joining before the end of September 2017. The 3-year full rate is USD 200 but this reduces to USD 160 with the pre-launch discount. Please note that a student/retired scientist rate is also available - see www.iucr.org/people/associates/joining-fees for further details.
How do I take advantage of the pre-launch discount?
To take advantage of the pre-launch discount please go to www.iucr.org/people/associates/congress-special-offer and register your details. You will be sent a confirmation email, and will receive a further email once the payment system is live.
