Calling All Microscopists

The Microscopy Society of America (MSA), with the approval of the International Federation of Societies for Electron Microscopy (IFSEM), wishes to assist microscopists in developing countries. The aim is to set up a directory, including an e-mail database and listserver specifically designed to improve communication. MSA also plans to use the WWW to improve access to data bases and other information related ro microscopy.

The list given below is of those countries which have national microscopy societies which are affilated to IFSEM. Microscopists in those countries already have the means of communicating with their colleagues throughout the world, through their national societies and through IFSEM. The aim of this new initiative by MSA is to use the power of electronic communication to bring all microscopists, including those working in isolation, more fully into the international community of microscopists.

If you are a microscopist, or know a microscopist not in one of the countries listed, please send name, address, tel., fax and e-mail to czaluzec@students.uiuc.eduor mail to C. Zaluzec, 797 Bonnie Brae Ct, Bolingbrook, IL 60440.
