The molecular structure of the title complex is shown in the figure. The Cu^II ion is coordinated in a distorted square-planar environment by two O atoms and two N atoms of a tetradentate Schiff base ligand. The Nd^III ion is ten-coordinated by three bis-chelating nitrate groups and four O atoms of the Schiff base ligand. The atoms of one of the nitrato ligands are disordered over two sets of sites, with refined occupancies of 0.567 (13) and 0.433 (17).
