Oxford Diffraction Limited

Oxford Diffraction Limited, a new company resulting from an alliance between Oxford Instruments plc and Kuma Diffraction, an X-ray diffraction equipment manufacturer from Wrocław, Poland will focus on X-ray crystallography and structural proteomics. Proteomics sets out to define the tens of thousands of proteins in the human body. Oxford Diffraction will use the new investment from TTP Ventures for further developments in detectors, X-ray sources, and cryogenics and to strengthen its distribution network. TTP (The Technology Partnership) Ventures is a Cambridge-based company formed in 1998 as the venture capital arm of TTP Group plc. TTP Ventures manages a £35m fund, which focuses on UK and European innovation technology businesses at an early phase.
