Powder standards

The European Committee for Standardization (CEN/TC 138) has appointed an Ad Hoc Group to develop standards for X-ray powder diffraction. The project "X-ray diffraction from polycrystalline and amorphous materials" is led by G. Beni of the U. of Pisa. Standards will be developed for XRPD Terminology, XRPD General Principles, XRPD Procedures, XRPD Samples, and XRPD Instrumentation.
