Early diffractometers

Dear Bill:

An erratum should be printed about the caption to the "Four Circle Diffracrometer" on page 24 of the IUCr Newsletter, Vol. 2, No. 4. It should read either (a) designed and used by David Harker's group or (b) first designed and used by Thomas C. Furnas and David Harker at The Protein Structure Project. It was refreshing to see the photo of the "half circle" diffractometer as it was called in those days.
