Publication donations

Dear Sir:

We have learned from Vol. 2, No. 4, 1994 that Mrs Janet (wife of Dr. Ben) Post wants to give a complete set of Acta Crystallographica to a crystallographic group somewhere in the world.

Our group now has a modern SIEMENS X-ray diffractometer, so we need very much information and experiences in the field of crystallography. This collection is indeed very useful for us. We are members of the IUCr. Please inform us of details of how to get this collection.

Dear Dr Phuc:

We received two requests for Dr Post's collection of Acta Cryst. before yours and have made arrangements to ship them to a group of crystallographers in Cuba. I hope that other crystallographers seeing your request will consider donating their  collection of Acta Cryst. to the National Crystallographic Association of their choice so that their books can be used by future generations of crystallographers in countries having limited access to the scientific literature.
