The Journal of Applied Crystallography

The Journal of Applied Crystallography covers a large range of crystallography, both from the viewpoint of techniques and theory, where these relate to the applied sciences. Full Articles, Short Communications, and Fast Communications are welcome. In addition,JAC is the primary place where crystallographic computer program information is published. Other sections include Letters to the Editor, New Commercial Products, Meeting Reports, Laboratory Notes, information about crystallographers, forthcoming meetings, and a calendar of events.

Recently, two new sections have been opened up: one on CIF applications and the other on crystallographic teaching and education. In particular, JAC has been the main vehicle for many years for the publication of small-angle scattering papers and of powder diffraction techniques (publications on powder diffraction in JAC are among the most cited articles in the literature). A new section has been established in J. of Applied Crystallography to cover all aspects of the teaching and education of crystallography. Full articles, short communications, and descriptions of educational computer programs may be submitted to any of the co-editors. In addition, announcements and reports of teaching courses as well as "Letters to the Editor" should be submitted to the Editor, Dr. A. M. Glazer, Clarendon Lab., Parks Rd., Oxford OX1 3PU, UK
