Competition prizes

Dear Dr. Duax:

I have received the copy of Symmetry of Crystals by E.S. Fedorov, the prize for identifying the mystery crystal structure illustrated in the Newsletter. The contest provides incentive to get us to read the upcoming titles in Acta Cryst., and is a good test of our appreciation for crystal structure illustration. As a chemist and a struggling, older crystallographer I take great satisfaction in having been able to demonstrate that I can still understand the results of crystallography even though I might not be able to generate them as I used to!
