ICDD elects Fellow

William Frank McClune has been elected to the the Int'l Centre for Diffraction Data list of Distinguished Fellows. He is being recognized for his sustained, outstanding work in the field of powder diffraction and was formally honored at the 2003 Denver X-ray Conference.

He celebrates 34 years of service with the ICDD, the past 20 as Editor-in-Chief of the Powder Diffraction File (PDF), nurturing the transition of the PDF from cards and books into the PDF-4 family of relational database products available on CD-ROM and DVD.
