Inorganic Crystal Chemistry
The Ukraine

The VIth Conference on Crystal Chemistry of Inorganic and Coordination Compounds (CCCICC-VI) was held in the Carpathian Mountains, Ukraine, Sept. 21-25, 1992, by invitation of L'vov State U. (Ukraine) in cooperation with the Institute of Basic and Inorganic Chem. (Moscow, Russia) and the Russian Academy of Sciences. The Chair of the Organizing Committee was M.A. Porai-Koshits (Moscow) and the Vice-Chairs were E. Gladyshevsky and O. Bodak (L'viv, Ukraine). The chair of the Program Committee was O. Bodak.

The CCCICC-VI continues a series of All-Union Conferences previously held in Bukhora in 1986 and Vladivosbah in 1989. The conference is international in character and was attended by 150 participants from Austria, Germany, Moldova, Poland, Switzerland, and UK.

The main topics of CCCICC-VI were as follows: crystal chemistry and topology of minerals and their synthetic analogs, structural chemistry and physical-chemical properties of inorganic compounds, stereochemistry of coordination compounds of transition metals, biological activity of inorganic and coordination compounds, crystal chemistry of high temperature superconductors, and systematic analysis of intermetallic compounds.
