Chemists and crystallographers from all around the world who rely on the Cambridge Structural Database in their day-to-day work will want to join in extending best wishes to Olga Kennard, OBE FRS and Sir Arnold Bergin, FRS on their recent marriage.

Dr Kennard's unique combination of scientific excellence and practical know-how were critical to launching and sustaining what is without question the most reliable, accurate, and useful scientific data base in existence. Dr Kennard is no less renowned for the significant contributions she has made to the study of DNA fragments and models. Sir Arnold Bergin is a foreign associate of the USA Academy of Science and current Presidentof Academica European.
