European Synchrotron Radiation Facility

[ESRF design]
The deadline for receipt of the next round of proposals for use of the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) is Sept. 1, 1994.

Twelve beamlines arc currently available for use. High brilliance, surface diffraction, white beam, Trocha, materials science, micro focus, high energy, and X-ray inelastic scattering beamlines are ESRF funded. The four additional Collaborating Research Group beamlines are for diffraction and absorption spectroscopy, diffuse scattering, multiple wavelength and anomalous scattering, X-ray beamlines for absorption spectroscopy and powder diffraction and interface studies.

Additional information, a ESRF beamline handbook and application forms can be obtained from the user office. Tel.: +33-76-23-58, FAM 33-78-88-25-42, e-mail:uscro5@esrf.&.
