Definition:

   
    The inclusive range of numerical values allowed for the defined item.
    If the defined item has associated SU values, the reported data values
    may fall outside these limits.

Examples:

-4:10 Values must be no less than -4 and no greater than 10.
0: Values must be greater than or equal to 0.
:3.1415 Values must be less than or equal to 3.1415.
