_pd_instr.var_illum_len

Definition:

   

      Length of the specimen that is illuminated by the radiation
      source (in millimetres) for instruments where
      the illumination length varies with 2\\q (fixed
      divergence slits). The _pd_instr.var_illum_len
      values should be included in the same loop as the
      intensity measurements (_pd_meas_).
 
      See _pd_instr.cons_illum_len for instruments where
      the divergence slit is \q-compensated to yield a\
      constant illumination length.
