1996 Neutron Scattering Satellite

Diffuse scattering in aAg1 revealed by time of flight Laue diffraction at the ISIS spallation neutron source.

The Neutron Scattering Satellite to the XVII IUCr Congress in Seattle will be held during August 5-7, 1996, at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, Gaithersburg, MD, USA. It will cover advances in instrumentation and applications to  crystallography, materials science, and molecular biology, including (but not limited to) reflectometry, small-angle scattering, and inelastic scattering. Leading researchers in these rapidly advancing fields will be invited to discuss recent progress, and poster sessions will provide an opportunity for all workers to present interesting results. There will also be tours of the NIST research reactor and the Cold Neutron Research Facility.
