Codding Receives Clara Benson Award

P. Codding, FCIC, University of Calgary, a member of the Executive Committee of the IUCr, is the recipient of the Clara Benson Award of the Canadian Society for Chemistry. Codding's research activities are focused on understanding molecular recognition and developing principles for the design of molecules with specific biological activity. Current investigations include studies of benzodiazepin receptor anxiolytics, excitatory amino acid anticonvulsants, and antiarrhythmic drugs.
